Jin\u00e9 byly tenkr\u00e1t tak\u00e9 konzerva\u010dn\u00ed postupy a l\u00e1tky ke konzervaci. Skladov\u00e1no bylo za p\u0159\u00edstupu vzduchu, tedy i mnoha nebezpe\u010dn\u00fdch mikroorganism\u016f. Vzhledem k tomu se rychle kazilo. Vina\u0159i se tomu sna\u017eili br\u00e1nit t\u00edm, \u017ee sudy o\u0161et\u0159ovali s\u00edrou a amfory s\u00e1drou.
